How does going green save me money?

Greater MPG - 'Green' cars have greater miles per gallon (MPG) and so consequently use less fuel. This can dramatically reduce the running cost of your car, especially if fuel prices continue to rise.
Reduced Road Tax - From 1st April 2007 the government updated the amount it charges drivers for its annual road fund licence. All cars registered after 1st March 2001 now pay tax based on the C02 emissions. So, the lower the CO2 emissions, the less road tax you pay.
Lower Insurance - Lots of newer, 'greener' cars are now being recognised by insurance companies and are consequently much cheaper to insure. Smaller cars often have the best savings

Three tips to buying a 'green' car

RMG Motor Park promote and sell a range of cars that have CO2 emissions of 150g/km or less. CO2 emissions contribute to the greenhouse effect but also have an impact on the efficiency and therefore running costs of your car. By selling cars with low C02 emissions we hope to help protect the environment, in addition to saving you money.
If you are living in a built up area or spend the majority of your time driving within city centres then petrol cars cause less harm to the environment. However, diesel engines emit less CO2 and for long distance driving are better suited.
